Breogan's ancestry is listed as:
"Son of Brath, son of Deag, son of Arkadh, son of Alladh" etc
and continues on in that fashion for a total of 26 generations.
In the absence of any additional information on any of these names,
such as rank or title, dates of life, or any other historical information,
and considering that Breogan is our 100th generational ancester
we decided to end it here.

High King of Ireland
?_796 BC

None of the High Kings of Ireland ruled the entire island of Ireland.
Each Kingdom controlled only a small area comparably to what
today would be called a County.
At any given time, there were several High Kings
each ruling competing areas and frequently at war with each
other to expand their Kingdom.
Judging by the various life stories, the Kings were more likely
to die in combat than they were to die of old age.

It was not until the rise of Brian Boru in the year 1004
that all of Ireland was ruled by a single king.
