The plaque is 4" in diameter and easily mounts to the wall with a pair of "keyhole" slots on the back. Simply run #6 flat head wood screws into the wall leaving them projecting from the wall 1/4" as shown. The length of the screws depend on whether or not you can hit a stud. If so, then a screw about 1 1/2" long will be just fine. If you can not hit a stud then use hollow wall anchors available at any hardware or home center store. The length of those screws should match the anchor. Then simply fit the keyhole slots over the screw heads and allow the medallion to slid down over them.

Mount the medallion into one of our Shadow Box Frames as shown at the right. Notice that there is plenty of room around the medallion to add you own touches: Career veterans have served in a variety of units, each with their own unique unit insignia. In addition to showing the medallion it can also display any hat pins, unit patches, and rank insignia, along with any ribbons, awards and decorations that the individual has earned. We sell the medallions and the frames separately because we realize that not everyone wants a frame so we do not force you to buy the frame just to get the medallion.
