The plaque is 6 1/4" x 5 1/2" and easily mounts to the wall with a "keyhole" slot on the back. Simply run a #6 flat head wood screw into the wall leaving it projecting from the wall 1/4" as shown. The length of the screw depends on whether or not you can hit a stud. If so, then a screw about 1 1/2" long will be just fine. If you can not hit a stud then use a hollow wall anchor available at any hardware or home center store. The length of the screw should match the anchor. Then simply fit the keyhole slot over the screw head and allow the medallion to slid down over it.
