Offered is a beautifully detailed Pewter belt buckle featuring the
United States Army
First Cavalry

Symbolism

Yellow, which is the Cavalry's traditional color, and the horse's head acknowledge the division's original Calvary structure.
The black diagonal stripe is a Heraldic device which represents a Sword Baltric and is a mark of military honor.
The diagonal positioning of the stripe represents movement "up the field" and symbolizes aggressive attack.
The color black, which is a symbol of iron, represents the transition from horses to tanks and armor.
The single diagonal bend and the single horse's head also alludes to the division's numerical designation

Measuring 2" x 2 1/2" it is designed for a belt up to 1 1/2" wide.
