Symbolism

The Taro Leaf is symbolic of its original name "The Hawaiian Division"
while the lightning flash is representative of the manner in which the Division performs its assignments.
In keeping with that symbolism the Division is known as Tropic Lightning.

The License Plate is deeply embossed from the back to present a Raised Relief design
giving it a three dimensional look and feel.
